A long time wish was fulfilled when I started this B&B in 2009. I love everything about running a B&B. Especially making you as my guests, feel welcome and make sure you have the most comfortable stay possible.

Property info

B&B De Vink is a national monument with a very unique free location directly on the river. In a rural area, but a stone's throw from Amsterdam. The old drive-through barn has been converted into an independent residence with its own entrance. With attention to the interior and appearance so that every guest feels comfortable. Both double rooms have their own bathroom. The upstairs room has a very large bath with a view over the river. The B&B has its own entrance with two double rooms, both with private bathroom and a small kitchen. Of course there is a safe parking space for your car. A nice hide-away with exceptional beautiful views. When you make a reservation for two persons, only the upstairs room is booked for you. If you want two rooms for single person use, please let me know. The extra costs will be 30 euros, for the extra room. A booking for three or four persons will be for the whole B&B, both rooms. No other people will stay overnight in the B&B during your stay, regardless of how many people you book. There is a very steep staircase to the upstairs room. It is therefore not suitable for people with walking difficulties or very young children.

Neighborhood info

The B&B is located just outside the village of Abcoude. This area is known for the many walking and cycling routes, as well as the small rivers and lakes. The 'Vinkeveense and Loosdrechtse plassen' are easily accessible by boat, bicycle and car. We are close to the border of Amsterdam in a small nature conservation area - serene yet only a footstep away from the Dutch capital with its musea, concert halls and other entertainment. In 20 minutes you are with the train at Amsterdam Central station. With half an hour you also in the centre of Utrecht. There is free parking at the railway station in Abcoude.
